GEOGRAPHY PROJECT

We live in Kastoria, a beautiful town in Greece. Greece is in the south of Europe. It borders Albania, FYROM, Bulgaria to the north and Turkey to the east. It is also washed by the Aegean, Ionian and Libyan Sea. The capital of Greece is Athens. It is a mountainous place but it has got some plains in Thessalia and Macedonia. Rivers in Greece are short in length. Aliakmonas is the longest river. The weather is mild. It is hot and dry in summer but cold and wet in winter. The most beautiful time to visit Greece is in spring or in autumn. The people are very friendly and they work hard on agriculture, fishing, shipping and cattle breeding Greece is a beautiful country and many tourists visit our beautiful islands and our museums.
